Story
On June 13th Imogen, Alistair, Simon, Nicola, Colleen, Caroline and Caitlin, will take on the Great Knaresborough Bed race to support Open Arms Malawi.
The team will join the other 90+ teams, pushing their bed (and Caitlin) on a gruelling 2.4 miles race. This takes them through parkland, through the Nidd Gorge, up the steep Castle Ings to the town centre. They then hurtle down High Street and Bond End, cross High Bridge and dash to the climax of the event: the 30-yard swim through the ever-icy waters of the River Nidd, beds racers and all.
Any support you can give to the team, as they take on this challenge, is hugely appreciated and will support the lifesaving work of Open Arms Malawi.
Open Arms Malawi is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in Malawi. Working closely with families and communities to ensure children at risk survive their infancy and grow up to thrive within the love and security of their own home, whilst empowering the entire family to achieve self-sufficiency.
Having visited Open Arms in Malawi a couple of times, Imogen knows first hand the impact your support makes.
By donating today, you'll be helping to build brighter futures not just for the children who need it right now, but for the next generation to come.
Thank you for your support!
