Beechville (MHA) Scafell Pike Walk

Beechville MHA Bolton is raising money for MHA
MHA provides nurturing environments throughout all our specialist care homes, thriving retirement living and vibrant communities. Our mission is to reduce loneliness in every stage of later life through enriching experiences that enable older people to live later life well.

Story

Beechville MHA, Bolton is a 63 bed care home providing residential and residential dementia care. The residents regularly enjoy activities within their home.

A group of relatives, friends and staff from Beechville are walking up Scafell Pike in The Lake District – the highest mountain in England on Saturday 16th August 2025.

We are fundraising to boost the residents amenity fund - to provide activities, experiences, trips, therapies and resources to ensure the residents enjoy their life to the full at Beechville.

A group of us walked up Snowdon last year and raised £3,012. We hope you can help us beat this amount?

Walking up Scafell Pike is a tough challenge. It is 3 miles up and 3 miles down and will take our Team Members between 4 and 5 hours to complete depending on their fitness, pace and number of stops.

But.... we are all taking part to make every day special for the wonderful residents of Beechville.
