Connected by our experiences of grief and loss, we first met when we attended bereavement support group sessions at Beechwood Cancer Care Centre, Stockport last year. Twelve months later and we're still talking and supporting each other as we navigate life without our loved ones.

We want to say a big thank you to Beechwood for bringing us together and for the range of services they provide free of charge to the people of Stockport. We're hoping our fundraiser will do just that as we 'walk and talk' our way around Stockport's 46.5 mile boundary.

Beechwood's specialised team of counsellors and wellbeing staff offer a range of services for those affected by cancer, grief, loss and bereavement, including one to one counselling sessions, complementary therapies, bereavement support groups and a bereavement cafe.
