Dalcour Maclaren is fundraising for its chosen charity partner, Brain Tumour Research, to help find a cure for all types of brain tumours.

Story

Through 2025 the Dalcour Maclaren #OneTeam are fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK.

Help us fund the fight! Together, we will find a cure.

As part of the #OneTeam's efforts, I, and a uni friend, aim to battle the heat, blisters and albergue bed bugs to trek the 165 miles from Porto to Santiago de Compostela within the Camino Portugues.

Part 1 started on the 1st June with the flight to Porto, heading out of Porto on June 2nd I walked up the coast of Portugal via Correco, Caminha, Valenca and crossed into Spain at Tui on June 7th.

It was at the Spanish starting point at Tui Cathedral that I had to make the choice to split the journey into 2 parts.

With very poorly, infected feet, a raging temperature and just about reaching delirium, I re-grouped, headed home and planned for the second leg.

Ryan manage to smash his target and raise £610 for Brain Tumour Research and complete the Camino on the 11th of June!

My part two will commence from Tui Cathedral at the end of September!
