The Buddy Bag Foundation provide backpacks for children who find themselves in emergency care. These backpacks contain all the essentials a child needs, including clothing, toiletries, toys and a book. These small items of care go a long way towards comforting a child when they are in the middle of very traumatic circumstances.

I am the author of ‘Be Kind. No Excuses’, designed to help parents, carers and professionals to recognise the red flag behaviours displayed by abusers in the early stages of a relationship. Knowing the signs will prevent manipulation and coercive control right at the start. I believe everyone who works in the field of domestic abuse will benefit from reading my book.

The charity has asked me to raise funds so that I can supply them with as many books as possible to be included in resource packs for every Refuge in the UK. The funds would cover the manufacturing costs of the book and they would then be donated to this very worthy cause. I am looking to raise a minimum of £900 to provide 300 books for the charity.

Any donation, however small, would be hugely appreciated!
