All this started because I wanted to beat my 10yr old son’s 2K time….

In April 2025 I started my running journey, entering the 5K race at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival… and then things sort of escalated… I entered the 10K at AJ Bell's Great Scottish Run in Glasgow and now, I'm thrilled to say that I’m running the London Marathon next year for Whizz Kidz!

While I will be gaining blisters and a personality centred entirely around long runs, Whizz Kidz will be giving children independence, confidence, and freedom. I have a target of £2100 to raise, and am working through various fundraising ideas. In the meantime, if you can support me on this mad endeavour, please consider donating here. If not, moral support and restrained admiration are also welcome :)
