I have chosen Together for Short Lives because it is a vital UK charity that helps seriously ill children and their families through the most difficult times imaginable.

Every year in the UK around 99,000 children live with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions that may mean they do not reach adulthood.

Together for Short Lives works to make sure these families don't have to face it alone by funding children's hospices, providing emotional and practical support, and campaigning for better healthcare.

They also run a 24/7 helpline for families in crisis and help coordinate services so children can spend less time in the hospital and more time at home.

I believe every child deserves comfort, dignity and happiness -- and Together for Short Lives makes that possible every single day. That's why I'm proud to raise money for such an important cause.
