Fundraising in memory of Bella Amphlett for Charlotte's Rooms.

In memory of Bella I will be running 11 kilometres for 11 days, starting on the 26th of June and finishing on Bella’s 21st birthday, the 6th July. My family will join me for the final few kilometres. I have chosen to do this for 11 days to honour the 11 days Bella fought so bravely in the ICU.

Bella was a happy and vibrant 20 year old loving life in her final year at Leeds uni! She was due to qualify as a primary school teacher in June. She had a brain aneurysm that burst whilst at university in Leeds. Being so far away from home, my sister and brother in law were stranded but Charlottes Room provided them with a room that enabled them to stay in the hospital with Bella. Charlotte’s Rooms was a god send to them through the most difficult of times.

Charlottes rooms was set up in association with Leeds Hospitals Charity to create a safe environment where visitors can rest, recharge and maintain their well-being. With essentials for comfort, cleanliness and privacy, the team at Charlotte's rooms ensure that families can focus on what matters most - supporting their loved ones with strength and compassion.

No family should ever have to go through what Shell, Chris and Georgia went through for the 11 days that Bella was in hospital.

I would love to raise money for this brilliant charity in order to help families who may find themselves in a similar situation to my sister, brother in law and niece. Any sponsorship would be amazing!
