In memory of Alfie Ross

Children’s Heartbeat Trust is a local charity that provides practical and emotional support to children and young people living with congenital heart disease (CHD) in Northern Ireland. Over 200 babies are born each year in Northern Ireland with CHD. Please help us to support them. Thank you.

Story

In July last year, long time club member Alfie Ross passed away suddenly. We are delighted to get behind barmaid Sarah in organising a number of events in his memory while also raising much needed funds for a local charity. Every pound donated will be much appreciated in honouring a wonderful Daddy and supporting little heart warriors. Here are just some of the things planned that you can support;

- the 'Alfie Ross Memorial Cup' indoor bowls competition. All entry fees donated.

- Quiz night at the club on Monday 2nd March - all welcome with entry fees donated. A fantastic raffle with great prizes on the night too.

- A staff member is having their head shaved live in the club. Who will it be? Date to be confirmed but donations for this one are very well deserved!

- Relay team in the Belfast marathon - once again we're pounding the streets and welcome all donations.

Children’s Heartbeat Trust is a local charity in Northern Ireland providing practical, emotional and financial support to children and young people living with congenital heart disease (CHD). They work closely with the paediatric cardiology team at Clark Clinic in the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children to ensure that children and their families receive the best care, treatment and support possible.

They do not receive any government funding and are reliant on voluntary donations to fund services. Every donation is greatly appreciated.
