Story
I’m taking on Everest in a Day, and I need your support raising £3,727 for Finley’s Touch.
On Saturday 11 April, I am climbing Snowdon four times in under 24 hours. It is a proper endurance test, and I want the effort to mean something.
The Challenge: 36 miles mountain hike. 3927m total elevation. 24 hours. Fully self-supported - no crew. (This is the same elevation as Base Camp One to the Summit of Everest, in one day.)
Training has been long and gruelling with lots of day long hikes across the South Downs in the winter rain.
I’m raising money for Finley’s Touch, a local charity supporting children with cancer and their families. They step in with practical help when life is at its hardest, and they bring moments of relief when families need it most.
If you can support, my “signature ask” is £27. If that is not right, donate what you can. Every single donation counts, and I will be grateful for all of it.
