As many of you will know, we lost my wonderful dad 2 years ago following a short battle with cancer. Mary Stevens Hospice provided amazing end of life care in my dad’s final weeks, allowing us to spend precious time together as a family in the most caring and compassionate environment. Since then my husband and I have both become volunteers at the hospice to give back. And for an extra challenge we have decided to run a marathon to raise much needed funds that will go towards continued care for many other families who so desperately need the hospice’s support in times of crisis.
