RNLI Littlehampton December Dip raises money for the local lifeboat that not only patrols the coast near us, but also up the river Arun. This river popular with leisure craft is also the second fastest flowing in England.

I'm taking a dip in waters likely to be around 6C. This isn't a one-off, I've been training for three months in the choppy waters of Felpham, and hope to manage >2 minutes of exposure with only thermal protection on my feet and head.
