Story
I’m very proud to be the Chair of the Lily Foundation and to be carrying on my fundraising quest for such a remarkable cause.
Mitochondrial Disease may be rare but sadly it still kills and sadly more and more people are being diagnosed with it.
I’ve already raised over £17,500 for the charity through running Marathons and half marathons over the years and 2025 is no different as I will be running London Landmarks Half 6 for Lily.
The charity was founded in Lily's memory, having lost her battle to Mitochondrial Disease at just eight months old but has since gone on to represent the thousands of Mito sufferers and their families. The charity aims to give hope, answers and support to the many other children, adults and families that face the challenges of this disease today. There is no cure for this disease which is for many, debilitating and life limiting.
Please stand with us and fight Mitochondrial Disease and fight for hope.
