Story

Donate and watch a idiotic landlord run a half marathon dress in nothing but a bedsheet as the character “beer Jesus”

So back in summer 2022 I lost my old man from a long battle he had with Parkinson's, he slowly declined to the point he was just a shell of the very active man he was. My dad was a social monster, he was the funnest man in the room and knew everyone in every pub he when in. So back in the winter of 2022 after really letting myself go from working way to much at the pub I run I decided to really change my lifestyle and how I live my life. To push my health to a new level and to help to aim towards this I signed myself up to run the Great Bristol run doing the 10k.

To help raise money and to give everyone something to laugh at I decided to run the whole 10k wearing nothing but a bed sheet dressed as beer Jesus.

Why the Jesus costume? Well back in my close minded home town of where I grown up in I was called Jesus as an insult because I looked different so this is my way of turning a negative into a positive. The beer part is because I own the lease on a pub plus me and my dad loved beer!!

I manage to raise over a thousand pounds thanks to your help and finish the race in under a hour so this year I’m pushing my fitness again. This year I doing the whole half marathon in custom and all!!

Please donate if my picture made you laugh how ridiculously I look or if you know anyone affected by Parkinson. It’s a horrible disease and Parkinson uk need all the help they can get.

Thank you
