Making History for a 10× Underfunded Condition

Ben Chouhan is raising money for Epilepsy Society

FULL IRONMAN · 23 September 2026

The Royal Parks Half Marathon goes through the stunning landmarks and famous Parks of London. Team Purple will be raising vital funds for the Epilepsy Society enabling us to transform the lives of the 600,000 people living with epilepsy in the UK

Story

Epilepsy affects 6x more people than Parkinson’s — but gets 10x less funding.

This is unacceptable.

I live with epilepsy and I know firsthand how limiting it can be. To raise awareness and vital funds, I’m running 2 marathons and completing 1 full Ironman — pushing my limits to make a difference.

I’m also representing British Asians in endurance sport, becoming the first British Indian with epilepsy to finish a full Ironman, showing that resilience and determination can overcome barriers.

Every donation funds the Epilepsy Society’s research, care programs, and awareness campaigns, helping people living with epilepsy today.

Join me. Donate now. Let’s break limits, fund research, and give people with epilepsy a stronger future.
