Just a little over 30 years ago, our family received support from Alder Hey (through the Alder Centre) when our Melissa passed away. I have always wanted to show gratitude in some way and the Liverpool Half Marathon seemed a fitting way to do this. In addition, raising awareness of the special work they do and the support they continue to provide families on a daily basis.
