Story
I’m raising money because I live with epilepsy - and for a long time, I felt ashamed of it. I stayed quiet, afraid of how people might see me. But now, I’m choosing to turn that silence into something meaningful. I’m speaking up, and I’m running—for myself, and for others who feel the same.
I’m taking on 10 races to raise awareness and support Epilepsy Society, an incredible charity working to fund vital research, improve access to life-saving medication, provide support to those affected, and fight the stigma that still surrounds epilepsy.
Every year, over 1,000 people in the UK lose their lives to epilepsy. Many of these deaths are sudden, unexpected, and preventable. That’s why this matters—because awareness, treatment, and support can save lives.
This is for anyone who’s ever felt alone because of their condition. We deserve hope, understanding, and the chance to live without fear—or feel like an outsider because of something we can’t control.
