In recent days my grandad lost his battle against Lymphoma. People close to me will know my grandad has been my father figure throughout my whole life, whether that was by following me all around the country playing football or helping me make tough decisions to better myself. I could go on forever about how much of an influence he has had on my life however one thing that has stuck with me is that I feel like I never was able to show him truly how much i appreciated and loved him.

That is why I have decided, on the 11th October 2026 I will be running a half marathon to raise money for Lymphoma UK.

Having not been in this position before I am struggling to find words to describe my feelings so I will just say,

Rest in peace grandad, I love and miss you ❤️
