Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, I'm running the Chelmsford Marathon to raise money for Long Covid Support.

My Partner Ellie caught Covid in December 2023 which has had long term consequences including a recent diagnoses of ME/CFS. In this time there were periods of relatively good health until April 2025 when a serious crash led to her being too unwell to work for over a year.

Through all this time it's just been hard seeing someone I care about try to navigate a healthcare system that doesn't understand the condition as well as having to sift through the large amount of ill-informed and potentially dangerous advice that gets chucked around online and in the media. It's fair to say it's been a struggle! So anything that can help improve the public understanding of Long Covid is good news and Long Covid Support do great work helping do just that!
