Story
I didn’t have the opportunity to be involved in Scouting when I was younger, but since joining as a leader for my two children, I’ve completely fallen in love with it.
In a world where young people are increasingly surrounded by screens and distractions, Scouting still offers something incredibly valuable — the chance to connect with nature, build resilience, and create real friendships through shared adventure.
Our group is in need of funds to, among other things, help with Scout HQ (hut) repairs so that we can continue providing these opportunities for the young people in our community.
To help support this, I’m taking on the challenge of planning and leading a team taking a group of 21 young people aged 12–17 to climb Mount Snowdon this May to raise funds.
Any support you can give — whether for the young people taking part or for me leading this challenge — would be hugely appreciated. Thank you so much.
