As many of you will know, dementia is an awful disease which can have a devastating impact on families. The number of people developing dementia is on the rise, with one in two of us likely to be affected by the disease in our lifetime.

Having witnessed first hand what the disease can do to a loved one, I’m keen to do what I can to support research into the illness and prevent other families from going through a similar situation.

Research is our only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia. Alzheimer’s Research UK are the UK's leading dementia research charity. They exist for a cure.
