Story
In April 2026, I will be taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for a special cause.
I’m running to support Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity that provides specialist care and support for young people facing cancer. Every day in the UK, seven young people aged 13–24 are diagnosed with cancer, and each year around 4,000 young people receive this life-changing diagnosis.
Cancer at this stage of life brings unique challenges. Many young people find themselves treated alongside either very young children or much older adults, often without access to age-appropriate care or support. Teenage Cancer Trust funds specialist hospital units, youth workers and nurses who ensure that young people facing cancer receive the dedicated care, understanding and support they deserve.
By supporting this run, you are helping to ensure that young people facing cancer do not have to go through it alone.
Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can - it really will make a massive difference.
