UK three peaks challenge (24 hours) · 21 June 2025

No parent expects to live longer than their child, but for many of the families we support, this is a reality. Julia's House, the Dorset & Wiltshire Children's Hospice charity provides frequent respite care for children and support for their families at home, in the community and at our hospice.

Story

Why We’re Fundraising

Julia’s House makes an extraordinary difference to families at the toughest times of their lives. They provide compassionate hospice and home care, sibling support, respite breaks, and end-of-life care — all funded almost entirely by public donations.

Your support could help fund:

£100 — Dedicated time with a sibling worker for the brother or sister of a seriously ill child, giving them their own special time.

£500 — Expert nurse-led care for a child at home, allowing the rest of the family to relax, rest, or spend precious time together.

£1,000 — A full week of respite care for a seriously ill child, giving families much-needed relief from round-the-clock caring.

Every pound you donate helps make these extraordinary services possible.

Our Challenge

We’ll be tackling:

Ben Nevis (Scotland) – 1,345m

Scafell Pike (England) – 978m

Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa (Wales) – 1,085m

All within 24 hours — a true test of endurance, teamwork, and determination.

How You Can Help
