Story
London Nightline was set up over 50 years ago with the mission of reducing loneliness and preventing student suicides, and has been at the heart of student mental health support ever since.
The free, overnight listening service is a lifeline for thousands of students every year. It runs from 6pm-8am, when other welfare services or support systems tend to be unavailable. There are no referrals or waiting lists, and no problem is too big or too small to discuss with fully-trained helpline volunteers. Students talk to us about everything from academic stress and relationship problems to mental health and suicide.
