Story
After finishing LM25 firstly I questioned if I would ever run a Marathon again because it was hard really hard ,hot & brutally long , secondly I was blown away by the huge support and generosity throughout my journey.
We raised an amazing amount that will help BTR continue the pioneering research they undertake, Brain Tumours haven’t gone way ! however as indiscriminate and aggressive this disease is we can fight it !!!!
So here we go again 👊
I am honoured to say BTR has offered me a valuable London Marathon place for 2026 , Last year I ran on a Ballot place and raised an amazing amount. One in three people in the UK knows someone affected by a brain tumour. This disease is indiscriminate; it can affect anyone at any age.
“My why” is Marc Wilding , I have seen first hand the effects it has had on him , his family.
Since his diagnosis he has lived with and fought hard , making light and positivity out of a seemingly negative and dark time , typical of the man he is and love .
So I will give it my all inspired by Marc and your belief in me , I will train through the British winter and step over that line in April because that’s what those living with this diagnosis do ! They get up and fight 💙💓
Please have a read and help me to help the Cause 👊
Thank you .
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease since records began in 2002.
Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this. It is the only national charity focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours.
On April 26, 2026, I will be participating in the London Marathon to raise funds for this vital cause. My target is to raise £3,950 to support groundbreaking research that could save lives and bring hope to countless families.
Together, we can make a difference. Help fund the fight against brain tumours and join me in this journey towards finding a cure. Your support can help turn hope into reality.
