In April 2023, an NHS beloved colleague and friend, Anju Lazenby, passed away after her valiant battle with cancer. Anju's memory lives on in the South East Primary Care Transformation Team, and we're embarking on a special journey to commemorate her enduring spirit.

Save the Date: November 6th, 2023. On this day, something extraordinary is happening at the NHS England Horley Office—a 'Cyclathon' in honour of Anju. We're rolling out a static bike, and here's the exciting part—our home-based colleagues can join the mission from the comfort of their own homes! How you participate is entirely up to you. Run, walk, cycle—every step or pedal will count. Just record your mileage and send it in by November 6th, and we'll add it to our total miles on Strava. Our audacious goal? To virtually tour all the offices in the South East!

All funds raised will be evenly split between two charities chosen by Anju's family: Cancer Research and The Hummingbird Centre (http://thehummingbirdcentre.org.uk) Cancer Research UK, both of which provided invaluable support to Anju during her illness.
