Story
As many of you know, I embarked on my running journey after completing the Couch to 5k program last Christmas. Since then, I have been on a transformative Fat to Fit journey, shedding over 25kg and discovering a newfound passion for running outdoors. Each step has been a challenge and a triumph, fueled by the motivation found in tracking my progress through Strava.

Recently, after completing a Strava challenge, I was honored with the opportunity to join Team Cancer Research for the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026, taking place on 11 October 2026. Embracing new challenges has become part of who I am, so I decided to run not only for personal growth but also to support an incredible cause.
On the 4th May I took on Dorney lakes 5k race where I came 13th out of 194 runners in the time of 22 minutes I have a 10k race coming up at the end of May
Nearly one in two people will face cancer in their lifetime* — a staggering reality that underscores the urgent need for continued research and support. That’s why I am raising funds for Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work. Every donation helps power pioneering research that brings us closer to beating cancer.
I invite you to join me in this fight by sponsoring my run. Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to millions affected by cancer. Please support my fundraising goal of £1,200 and help turn every mile into progress against this disease.
