Story
It’s that time again!
As many of you already know, I like to try and take on a challenge each year to raise funds for The Motor Neurone Disease Association. A charity close to my heart given my dad is fighting a battle with MND.
This last year hasn’t allowed for anything to take place for a number of reasons, but we’ve settled on the latest challenge, and it’s a big one.
So, as a football mad family, and myself, my two boys and my dad all being massive Huddersfield Town fans and season ticket holders; we have decided to link it back to that.
In January next year, I will take on two sponsored walks to raise much needed funds for the charity.
Saturday 10th January: Accu Stadium, Huddersfield to Edgeley Park, Stockport. 27 miles. This walk will be through the night as we look to arrive in time for a 3pm kick off..
Saturday 24th January: Valley Parade, Bradford to Accu Stadium, Huddersfield. 12 miles. An early morning start as we again aim to arrive for a 3pm kick off.
The finer details will be announced in due course, and if anyone is keen to join even just a part of one of the legs, let me know and it would be more than welcome!
We are announcing details early as we’re aiming high this time and looking to raise £3000!!
