In homage to other facial hair fundraising events in November, I thought it would be a good time to address the beard. In what might be considered a strange time of year to lose the big white beard it has been reaching new lengths for this very reason...

The plan in November is to become less like Charles Darwin and more like Clark Gable! Although my personal preference would be to finish with something a little more James Hetfield! I'm happy to take suggestions for large donations!!

The plan is to try a couple of styles throughout the month, though I hope to avoid the Noel Edmunds stage if possible. It's been a while (a decade??) since my chin has seen any daylight, so this is kind of a big deal and worthy of parting with any money you can afford to give.

Funds raised will be going towards an excellent local charity. Second Step is a leading mental health charity in the South West offering housing, support and hope to thousands of people with mental health and other problems.
