The SHP Crew team started an annual tradition two years ago by holding its first annual ergathon fundraiser in October 2021. This ergathon is a way for the team to raise funds for the upcoming Spring Season but to also provide a great teaming event where the team competes on the rowing machines for personal bests in a 2k meter race!

Last year, we raised over $30,000 and bought a brand new quad, oars, and rowing machines. I raced in this boat, and we made team history by going undefeated in scholastic races and winning major races like Stotesbury Cup and Scholastic Nationals (the first time a boat has won these races in team history). We are raising money this year to buy an eight to continue improving our fleet and build on our success as a program.
