Aaron & Ben’s fundraiser for Dementia NI

Ben Walker is raising money for Dementia NI

Ballinderry 2 Ibiza Beetle run · 15 September 2026

Dementia NI was set up by 5 people living with dementia. They knew that raising awareness and challenging the stigma of dementia was vital in empowering them, and others, to live well with their diagnosis. Dementia NI drive's positive change , your support makes that possible. Thank you.

Story

Aaron and myself are taking on a personal challenge by participating in a spin from Ballinderry to Ibiza in my 1972 Beetle on 15th September 2026 to raise funds for Dementia NI. This incredible local charity is dedicated to supporting people living with dementia, ensuring their voices are heard and their lives improved every day. Dementia changes lives dramatically, and Dementia NI’s vision is clear: everyone in Northern Ireland living with dementia deserves an accurate and timely diagnosis, access to the right services, and the support needed to live well.

By joining this event, we want to help raise awareness and break down the stigma surrounding dementia. Dementia NI works tirelessly to educate, train, and advocate for those affected, but they need our support now more than ever. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of individuals and families facing this challenge. Myself and Aaron will be paying for this entire trip ourselves so any money that will be raised will be going directly to dementia NI

I’m aiming to raise £1,000 to support this vital cause. Your generous donation will help Dementia NI continue their essential work—providing hope, care, and a stronger voice for people living with dementia. Please join me in supporting Dementia NI by donating today. Every contribution counts towards creating a brighter future for those affected. The future is bright the future is orange
