I am undertaking the Great West Run this May for FORCE Cancer Charity: a Devon-based charity giving care and support for local people affected by cancer to improve their wellbeing and quality of life.

My wonderful mum, Amanda Williams, has recently been diagnosed with cancer, so it is a cause that drives me personally as cancer is a problem currently at the heart of my world.

The need for FORCE has never been greater. Cancer touches every corner of our community with more and more people diagnosed every year.

I have decided to push my boundaries and run the Half-Marathon in the Great West Run 2026 for a brilliant cause. This is my first attempt at this distance and I predict it will not be easy. I am fully committed to the training and will ensure I complete the full distance in a reasonable time.
