Hello hello,

It's not often that I request sponsorship for my sole-pounding escapades, but as many of you know running has transformed my mental health. The opportunity to tackle the Great West Run in order to support these services in Devon was, therefore, one I couldn't refuse. (I may be a London Boy, but my family roots are Exeter-based.) If you can give even a couple of quid, I'd be incredibly grateful.

Open Up is a Devon-based charity dedicated to improving the lives of individuals broadly receiving care from Devon Partnership NHS Trust. It focuses on mental health, learning disabilities and neurodiversity through innovative therapies, essential equipment and community partnerships. Open Up's mission is to break down barriers and raise awareness, creating supportive environments for all.

The Great West Run takes place on Sunday, 25 May, 2025.
