Story

On September 16th 2022, we sadly lost my brother, Jamie. I have planned to run/jog/walk/crawl from Anfield Stadium to our home in Connah’s Quay to raise money for PAPYRUS - a charity who supports the prevention of young suicide. I plan to complete this on Friday 15th September 2023, just close to the year anniversary of losing my brother, who is sorely missed every minute of the day. Our lives will never be the same, the aim of this event is to raise awareness of PAPYRUS and to ensure Jamie’s legacy will continue . Donations are appreciated and your support won’t go a miss.

The challenge will be tough but nothing will be tougher than loosing someone through suicide.

PAPYRUS is the national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, in 2018 over 1800 young people took their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINEUK.

Every £5 raised can help pay for a life-saving contact to HOPELINEUK. Your donations really are lifesaving, thank you.
