Steel Warriors believe that young lives should be built on steel, not destroyed by it. We are a unique and innovative sport-for-good charity, the only one to use steel from seized knives to make outdoor gyms, where we deliver free calisthenics classes to young people and the wider community.

Story

On October 26th 2022 an incredible person Luke O'Connor was killed in a random knife attack. That day not only did we lose a friend and a family member, we lost one of the most upbeat and happiest people I've ever known. Lukey you really were the life and soul of the party, I miss you and you motivate me every day bro.

In Luke's memory I am fundraising for a charity working to reduce knife crime in the most affect areas: Steel Warriors. Any size donation will go a long way and be hugely appreciated.

It's a privilege to raise money for such a good cause - Steel Warriors are reducing the knife crime epidemic in using innovative and community-based tactics. They are making a massive impact in the communities they are working in already, and are hoping to expand across the country. See more of the work they do on their website

"Steel Warriors is a charity that aims to reduce the number of young people carrying knives in the UK. We take seized and surrendered knives from London’s streets, melt them down, and recycle the steel into free outdoor calisthenics gyms. We believe lives should be built on steel, not destroyed by it.

Steel Warriors want to provide the first network of free calisthenics gyms across the UK. We believe our gyms can make a real impact on affected communities, bringing people together and allowing them to build strength, confidence and discipline."
