Story
In May 2025, our daughter Rowan was born having inhaled meconium into her lungs which meant she required resuscitation and oxygen support. All thanks to the amazing neo-natal intensive care (NICU) team at King’s College Hospital, she made a very quick recovery, and is now a happy, babbling baby of three months.
To show our thanks to the team at King’s that looked after Rowan (and us) during our stay, we’ve decided to do what any rational parent would do and throw ourselves off the top of the hospital building. Yes, really!!!!! On Friday 5th September, we will be abseiling (or rappelling if you are in the US) down the Golden Jubilee Wing of King’s College Hospital. Feel free to come along and watch / throw eggs if you wish. All donations of any size are most welcome and gratefully appreciated - they will help the staff at King’s to continue providing excellent care to babies and parents in need.
Lots of love,
Ben, Biff and Rowan xxx
