Story
Thank you for visiting this page. On the 28th of April, we lost Ben—a beloved brother, son, and a deeply loyal friend.
Ben was a truly special person who brought people together through the things he loved. He was a passionate, lifelong supporter of Tottenham Hotspur, and a massive music lover with an incredibly eclectic taste—introducing people of all ages to everything from rock, prog rock, and psychedelic music, to reggae, rap, indie tunes, and old-school metal.
But above all, Ben was always happiest simply spending time with others and sharing a laugh, in whatever he did. Whether he was bantering over a football match or sharing a new track, he just loved being in the company of the people he cared about.
"Classic Ben" meant something wonderful to everyone who knew him. To his family, he was effortlessly funny, purely kind, and a reassuring smile. To his friends, his presence was always wanted, ready to take the piss out of a situation to make people laugh, but equally the first person to look out for others. He had a rare gift for making everyone feel completely at ease.
Why We Are Fundraising
Instead of floral tributes for Ben’s funeral, we are asking for donations to be made to the Samaritans in his memory.
When Ben was facing his own struggles, he reached out to the Samaritans helpline. By supporting them now, we want to honour Ben's legacy of looking out for people. Your donations will help ensure that their vital, non-judgmental support is always there for someone else's brother, friend, or loved one when they need it most.
Thank you for your love, support, and for helping us keep Ben’s kind, fun-loving spirit alive.
