Story
Hi,
I will be taking part in two charity football matches with Another Game Another Chance, a charity set up to raise money and awareness for suicide prevention and mental health through football.
This year I will be playing at the Hawthorns alongside my brother Ed on the 20th May, and at my beloved King Power Stadium on the 23rd May. This is not only a great opportunity for me to bring the people I love the most together through football but to also play alongside great likeminded people all playing for the same cause.
Suicide prevention and mental health is something that effects everyone in many different ways and is something I have struggled with in the past and I know many of my closets friends have suffered with in the past, so it’s a cause that I hold very close to my heart.
AGAC raise money for the charity “CALM” which you can read about below:
We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We’ve got loads of tools and resources to help people find the support they need, including a life-saving helpline for people who can’t see a way forward, have lost someone to suicide, or are worried about their friends or loved ones.
£12.20 is enough to fund one potentially life-saving call.
