Today, with over 77% of animal experiments in the UK being used in basic and applied research where no legal requirements and standards exist, Replacing Animal Research's focus is to fund innovative science, promote human-relevant methods, and drive real change in how research is done.

About my journey towards the London Marathon

I began running in February 2025, and have immensely enjoyed the journey towards better fitness and longer distances throughout the year. Taking part in running events and combining my love of the sport with the chance to raise money for causes close to my heart is a highlight of the hobby for me! I am taking part in the Great North Run for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home this September, and am very excited to train for and complete the London Marathon 2026.
