My dear colleague and friend Wayne Field spent his last few days at St Wilfrid’s in October 2023. The care and love shown was exceptional. My lovely Auntie Bernie was also looked after so well there in 2019. I miss them both so much.

I promised Wayne that I would run an ultra for him and raise money. He insisted on St Wilfrid’s as his charity choice. Wayne’s bravery, positivity and dedication was awe inspiring.

So now I embark upon a massive challenge to take on one of the toughest trail Ultra courses around. My pal Jimmy Salmon will join me to train and complete this challenge In October 2024.

3 years ago, you were all so generous as I did London for ICR. I have only ever run over 25 miles once and that was on road.

Now we go again, 32 miles on trails and huge hills……..any support would be amazing.
