Almost a year ago, I suffered a very rare injury and spent some time in the brilliant Royal Alex Children's Hospital in Brighton. I had major surgery and lots of tests and procedures.

On the top floor of the hospital are Ronald McDonald rooms where my parents and sister stayed. It allowed us to be together when I needed them most.

Recovery has been long, but with the help of my amazing surgeon Kyle James, I am very positive about the future. I have been back training with Junior Hailsham Harriers for a few months now and my fitness is returning.

So I will run a 3k race on 17th May 2025 to raise money for the Ronald McDonald Charity. If you could sponsor me a small amount, that would be great and keep this support for children when they need it.
