Story
Hi, I'm Ben, I'm a 4th year Physics student at Durham University.
Sport has been a huge part of my life, particularly at University, helping me develop key skills and lifelong friendships along the way. We often take for granted the access we have to sport here in the UK, but for a huge number of children worldwide these pathways don't exist.
Next summer I will be travelling to Zambia to volunteer as a Football Development Officer, spending 8 weeks working with local coaches and the Sport In Action team to develop the sporting infrastructure for the local community. We aim to help the coaches develop their confidence and experience, as well as improve facilities and equipment, helping to make a lasting impact.
On Friday 12th of December, I’ll be setting off on the biggest challenge of my life in aid of Sport In Action.
I’m attempting to run home for Christmas - 5 marathons in 5 days.
Please donate if you can, the work that Sport In Action do makes such an impact.
As an extra incentive, I’ll let you decide what music I listen to while I’m on the road. For every £2 you donate, leave a comment on the donation with a song, and it’ll go in my playlist.

They work towards transforming the lives of children, helping them to develop critical life skills through the power of grass route sports.
