Story
As you may or may not know, my youngest son Connor has severe allergies that lead to anaphylaxis which is obviously terrifying for us, especially as he moves in to the care of others.
North Baddesley Infant School and Nursery has been fantastic already and have been so engaged and supportive in making adjustments and changes, but a lot of these come at a cost;
- specific early years anaphylaxis training
- epipen kits for school
- replacing avoidable allergens (Playdoh, pasta shapes etc)
We'd love to show our appreciation and support for the school by doing a charity fundraiser for them. So I have decided to do a Festive Charity Bike Ride!
I, dressed in some festive fancy dress that is yet to be decided, will be cycling from Basingstoke Hospital to Southampton General Hospital via Winchester Hospital. The route is approximately 36 miles! Yikes!
I plan to donate Christmas presents at each of these stops to spread a little festive cheer (these will not be paid for by the money donated and are being collected separately!).
I would greatly appreciate any donations towards my challenge. And if anyone would like to join I would be grateful for the company!
Thanks
