I'm running the Copenhagen Marathon on the 10th May which will be my first ever marathon and I'll be running in support of Eagle Community Holidays.

Eagle Community Holidays runs an annual week-long residential camp which provides a fun-filled and enriching week to 25 children and young people with a range of special needs (aged 11-18). The holiday includes trips to the beach, Bockett’s Farm, and many other exciting activities! It relies solely on individual donations and personal fundraising so the more raised, the more enriching activities and experiences can be provided for the holiday makers.

My partner, Katie, is one of the senior leaders for this holiday which means I have seen first-hand the amazing impact your donations can make. For some of these children and young people this is where they make life-long friends and build the confidence that they would otherwise struggle to find. The holiday is not only for the young people involved but also provides an important week of respite for parents, who often provide 24/7 care, and frequently tell us how valuable this week is for them, and the rest of the family too.
