Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have signed up for a white collar boxing event where i will be fighting at Sports Connexion in Ryton on Saturday 14th December. The reason I am doing this is to show some gratitude and appreciation for the Young at Heart charity who support families of children with heart conditions.

Back in Jan 2024 our little boy Hudson was born with a poorly heart. He has a condition called transposition of the great arteries (TGA) meaning the bottom arteries are the wrong way around. At just 1 week old our little soldier under went open heart surgery in order to have this corrected. This is something that they need to monitor frequently as he will need to have further surgery when he is older. This was a very daunting and emotional time for our family but Young at Heart gave us a lot of great support for which we are forever grateful.

Nine months later and he is smashing everything. He is a strong little man with such a big character and for everyone who has met him, he really lights up the room. For these reasons I have decided to sign up for 8 week bootcamp to get prepared for my fight in December and hopefully raise some money for a great cause.
