Story
A good friend of mine lost his Mother to MS. During her illness she continued to volunteer in local primary schools helping children develop their reading abilities, something which she continued to do up to the last 6 months of her life. She gave up her precious time to help the NHS in training young doctors in the psychological understanding and the impact MS has in addition to speaking in the House of Commons about the subject. The things Gillian Gerrard achieved through such adversity were truly humbling and inspirational to everyone she came into contact with.
The MS Trust is a UK charity which is here to help everyone make sense of MS. We are here for everyone affected by MS, from the moment of diagnosis and throughout their journey. We're here today, tomorrow and every day after that.
The MS Trust receive no government or NHS funding. It's only thanks to the generosity of our supporters, such as The incredible MS Trust London Marathon Team that they continue their work.
