My name is Benn, I am taking part in a stand-up comedy fundraiser where I’ll be learning stand-up for 8 weeks and then perform live in front of an audience. Yes you can buy tickets. In fact I need to sell a minimum of 10 so that would be good if you could.

The charity I have chosen to fundraise for is High Peak Community Arts and their Film Cuts Club project. The project focuses on filmmaking for young people with additional needs. Using their own ideas, creativity, and interests the young people make the films that they want to make.



The Film Cuts Club project has been running for over 10 years, providing young people with valuable filmmaking skills that they can carry forward into their academic and professional lives. Beyond technical skills, the project offers a safe and inclusive space for young individuals to express themselves, make friends, and build confidence and self-esteem outside of mainstream settings.

I am reaching out to ask for donations, big or small, to support this project and enhance the opportunities available to these young people. Your contribution will help us provide more support, equipment, and opportunities to ensure the continued success and growth of the Film Cuts Club project.
