Every two years, the staff at Bennetts Motorcycling Services Ltd choose a local charity to support through various fundraising activities, with the company matching all we raise up to £2,500 each year. That means that if we can raise £2,500 this year, we'll be able to give Magpas a total of £5,000 in 2024.

Magpas Air Ambulance operates 24/7 out of its Huntingdon base, answering on average four calls a day and treating around 900 patients in life-threatening emergencies every year. Your donation – of any size – really could help save a life!

While motorcyclists are often passionate about Air Ambulance charities, Magpas has saved the lives of not just those involved in road traffic accidents, but everyone in urgent need of help, like a cardiac arrest victim, premature twins and an 18 year old who suffered a crushed lung due to a tumour in 2023 alone. Giving even a little could change the world for everyone from newborns to the elderly.

Magpas receives no state funding and relies on generous public donations to bring hospital-level care to patients when time is critical. This not only saves lives, but also reduces recovery times and limits disability.

Magpas Air Ambulance is one of the UK's oldest emergency medical charities and was founded in 1971 by two Cambridgeshire GPs. Now, the team combines the skills of a doctor and paramedic together on every shift, specialising in emergency medicine or anaesthetics, with critical care paramedics highly trained and with significant experience in immediate care.
