Story

In Early 2023 at the age of 23 Ben was Diagnosed with Psoriasis, a chronic condition affecting the skin.

What is Psoriasis?

Psoriasis is a skin Condition caused by the immune system attacking its own healthy skin cells. Psoriasis causes a build-up of dead and flaky skin which emerge into patches all around the body, such patches become itchy and very uncomfortable. The condition has also been linked to forms of arthritis which causes additional discomfort.

Why trek up the UKs highest peak then?

With Psoriasis affecting approximately 1 in 50 people, its integral the appropriate research is done to help understand and support people with the condition.

Our aim is to bring greater awareness around psoriasis while also raising funds for the Psoriasis Association who of which provide fantastic support and research into the condition.

That being said, what better way to achieve our goal than taking on the difficult task of carrying a bag of cement each up and down the UKs highest mountain.

Your donation will go to the Psoriasis Association who help provide support and research towards combating and living with the condition
