Once again, I have been lucky enough to be selected for the UK Charity Allstars tournament, to be held in Cardiff in July 2025

I have been given the honour of being asked to captain a wonderful group of players who all have a very personal reason for wanting to raise money for the British Heart Foundation!

My dad suffers from heart disease and 5 years ago in July underwent open heart surgery to have a Left Ventricular Assistance Device (LVAD) fitted to his heart to assist in extended his life

However treatments like these require funding, and without the research to ensure the treatments are effective, this would not be possible

Over the last 9 years, BHF Hockey has raised over £70,000, and as the team heads into our milestone 10th year, we are pushing as a team to raise as much money as possible to help contribute the exceptional cause the British Heart Foundation pursues

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
